FAQ

What do I value most in the company I work for?

Glad you asked!
Preferably, the company I work for finds culture just as important as I do. Society is what motivates me to be the best version of myself. If my workspace values culture and connection and has processes to reinforce and keep culture alive (or allows me to take initiative on it), then I know I can do my job happily.

What is my greatest achievement?

Being able to juggle between my professional, academic and personal life. I am a full-time student and was a full-time employee for most of my time in academia. During this time I came to realize that I am able to manage my time in such way as to be able to excel in both academia and the workspace while still having time left for personal development, side projects and leisure activities.

What is the most impactful thing I've worked on?

Be it a work, academic or home environment, I like to observe and look into what's missing, once I identify it, I do my best to come with a solution.
One of those cases can be the perfect example for this question.
The company I work for is a non-profit that's still in its developmental stages, hence hiring and onboarding is an ongoing process. Up until recently, the onboarding process and documentation was a bit messy. I took the initiative to work on an onboarding process that can help the People&Ops department, the hiring managers and the new-hire find the process smoother.

What do I consider to be my best quality?

I believe that I possess one quality that helps me enhance all my other qualities-and that is my growth mindset. I strive for improvement at all times. A new skill that I'm interested in? I'll do my best to make sure I gain it. A current skill that can do with a bit of polishing? I'm taking the time to catch up and update my knowledge.
